In order to attract our audience, we used the same methods that a professional distribution company would create:
A poster for P & A
A film website
A Facebook page

FACEBOOK
Facebook is a popular networking site for teenagers and adults in which you are able to create a profile to upload videos, pictures, send messages and update statuses. You are able to communicate with whoever who has an account. The majority of all films have a Facebook page to broadcast their film. Therefore this is an effective place to make a Facebook page to advertise our film opening. Josie is responsible for making the Facebook page to advertise our film on.
INSTAGRAM
Instagram has an incredibly wide range of users therefore it is a good place for advertisement. As well as this a lot of our target audience which are teenagers use it everyday so our film would get more publication. I am responsible for creating the Instagram account in order to attract the address audience for our film opening. On the account that I created I followed some accounts for drama films to give me inspiration to how I should lay out my film account.
TWITTER
Twitter is an online social networking site where users can 'tweet' up to 140 characters to share with their followers. Twitter is also a good platform for distribution as users can 'retweet' to spread it and make it go viral. I currently have a Twitter account and use it to follow people and post and tweet things I am interested in. Therefore I can post things about my film opening. Megan will make the Twitter account.

Excellent work, Ally. A lot of thought and creativity has gone into reaching out to your target audience through the same platforms that a real film distributor would use: each of your social media platforms is effective in attracting and addressing your target audience and features your film's protagonist with clear verbal information about the film's content.
